Faux Flower Specialists is a Brisbane wedding floral hire studio operated by Greg Lemon. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Who we are

What we collect
When you use the wedding enquiry form, we may collect:
- name, email address, phone number
- wedding date, venue, package preference, how you found us, and the message you write
- if you later pay a deposit toward hire, payment details are handled by our payment provider — we do not run card checkout on this site
We do not currently run Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or other advertising tags. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are switched on. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address and browser data when a page is viewed.
Why we collect it
- to answer enquiries and book the complimentary consultation
- to quote and coordinate faux floral set hire for your event
- to pass booking details needed for delivery, setup and pack-down
- to meet tax, consumer-law and record-keeping duties
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for unrelated direct marketing lists.
Where it is stored
Enquiry forms are processed by Netlify Forms. Hosting is on Netlify. Those processors store data on servers that may be outside Australia. We use them because they are the infrastructure of this site. If you book hire, fulfilment details are used so we can deliver and collect the set.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to quote and, if you book, to complete the hire plus a reasonable period for accounting (typically seven years for financial records). You may ask us to delete an enquiry that did not become a booking.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to, or correction of, personal information we hold by emailing hello@fauxflowerspecialists.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Children
This site is for adults planning weddings. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
