Who and what
Faux Flower Specialists (Greg Lemon, Brisbane, QLD; ABN available on request) offers faux wedding floral set hire across South East Queensland. Enquiries are captured here and confirmed with a written quote. You are hiring the pieces for an agreed event window, not buying them, unless a purchase is confirmed in writing.
What is (and is not) included
Typical sets include 2 floral pillars or (Luxe Ivory) 1 floral arch, 5 floor arrangements, 1 hanging arrangement and 10 table arrangements. We do not provide bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes or corsages — venue styling / decoration hire only. Designs are fixed collections, not custom colour remakes.
The hire window
Unless the quote says otherwise, hire covers bump-in on the wedding date (or the day before if delivery is booked), the event itself, and pack-down / collection within 24 hours after — or return by you on the next business day. Longer windows are quoted separately.
Enquiry, deposit and balance
- Booking starts with an enquiry on this site — there is no card deposit calculator here.
- Once you accept a written quote, we typically require a 30% non-refundable deposit; the balance is due 14 days before the event.
- Payment methods are confirmed on the quote (card or bank transfer as offered by the fulfilling studio).
- Deposits are applied to the quoted total. They are not an extra fee. We do not invent bond percentages on this site.
What we provide
The set and tier listed on your quote. Venue rules (no hanging, limited bump-in) sit with you to confirm; the fulfilling team will work inside them.
Delivery and collection
Delivery, setup and pack-down within the Brisbane City Council area is available on full-service hire. Delivered orders have a $700 minimum spend (including delivery). Self-collection from Acacia Ridge is available. Access, parking, stairs and after-hours venue fees are passed through at cost if they apply. Outside the standard area, travel is quoted before you deposit.
Care during the hire
Keep pieces out of heavy rain, open flame, and unsupervised children or animals. Do not dismantle mechanics, cut stems, or dye anything. Indoor air-conditioning is fine; a January ceremony in full sun is why faux exists, but we still need a plan for wind on arches and pillars.
Damage, loss and fair wear
Fair wear from a wedding is expected. You are responsible for loss, theft, and damage beyond fair wear (broken vessels, missing bunches, paint, burns). Reasonable repair or replacement cost will be charged, evidenced — not a hidden penalty. Tell us the same day if something is damaged.
Return and collection
Leave pieces where we agreed to collect, or return them clean and complete (including Acacia Ridge self-collection returns). Late return may attract a reasonable extra hire fee if it blocks the next booking — we will say so on the quote if the calendar is tight.
Changes
These are fixed designs. Switching collection or tier after the deposit is only possible if stock and calendar allow, and may change the balance. You will see a revised quote — no surprise charges.
Our cancellation
If we cannot fulfil the hire (illness, vehicle, venue lock-out we cannot solve), we will refund all money paid for the hire we cannot perform, or offer a revised date if you want one. That is in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights.
Consumer law
These terms do not exclude the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill, be fit for the purpose discussed, and be supplied within a reasonable time.
Cancellation by you, deposits and refunds are set out on the refunds page.
